So, apparently WordPress won’t let me embed videos anymore, so I’ve included links this time. Here’s five songs (I cheated a bit this time) that will be getting plenty of plays from me in December:

1. “Rangers” – Falling Up

I wanted to pick my favorite song from Falling Up’s new, self-titled (untitled?) album to put here, but at this point my favorite seems to be a different song every other day. Here’s one of the many great ones:

2. “If There Is A Chance” – The Cardigans

This has become one of my very favorites in the “sad love song” category. Comparisons are made to birds leaving their nests and records spinning as you hear the sadness in Nina Persson’s vocal inflections.

3. “Surrender” – Lockets

I’m a sucker for these “Midnight City”-esque synth jams.

4. “I Can Make You Feel Young Again” – Copeland

Copeland have lots and lots of great songs, but this one may be my favorite of them all.

5. Christmas Music!

White Nights – Weaver At The Loom

These pretty, low-key tunes will have you reflecting with child-like wonder on the Christmas’ of your youth.
